Data and AI notice
The short version of how A'DAM.works looks after your data when you join online. The full privacy policy is on adamworks.nl.
Who is responsible
A'DAM Toren C.V., trading as A'DAM.works, Overhoeksplein 1, 1031 KS Amsterdam (KvK 56508956), is the controller of your personal data under the GDPR (AVG). Questions about your data: work@adamtoren.nl.
What we hold
Your contact and billing details, your company details if you gave them, your plan and agreement (including the signature you draw on the join page, the time you signed and the address of the device you signed from), your invoices and payments, and your building access records.
Why
- To run your membership under your agreement: signing you up, giving you access, billing you.
- To meet our legal duties, for example keeping invoices for as long as Dutch tax law requires.
- To keep the building safe.
- To send you news and offers, only if you tick that box, and you can stop any time.
Who helps us
Service providers process your data for us under data processing agreements: our membership system (Nexudus), our payment provider (Stripe, which handles your card details so we never see them), and theHUB, the team that runs our online systems. We never sell your data.
How we use AI
We use AI tools to help us run the space, for example to draft replies, prepare invoices and reports, and summarise conversations. A person at A'DAM.works checks anything that affects you, and no decision about your membership is made by AI alone. Our AI providers act only on our instructions under data processing agreements and don't use your data to train their models.
How long
For as long as you're a member, then only as long as the law requires or we need it to settle a claim. Invoices and financial records are kept for 7 years, as Dutch tax law requires.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct or delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to receive it in a portable form. Email work@adamtoren.nl and we'll reply within one month. You can also complain to the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
